Europe Energy flies with Air Serbia

On Wednesday, June 1, the airline Air Serbia introduced the route Beograd – Venice. One of the inaugural flight lucky guests was Matteo Ballarin, CEO of Europe Energy.

Serbian minister of Building Zorana Mihajlovic, director of Air Serbia Dane Kondic and italian ambassador in Beograd Giuseppe Manzo took part to the inauguration ceremony. The ambassador Giuseppe Manzo highlighted “The Veneto region is one of the Italian regions that most entertains relationship with Serbia. In fact, the Veneto region is home to 55% of the Serbian population that moved to Italy. Trade between Serbia and the Veneto region grew by 19% in 2016, reaching 225 million euro”

The first aircraft, a 319 Airbus, took off at 07.05 am from Nikola Tesla Airport in Beograd. On board there were minister Mihajlovic, Erich Cossutta (president of Confindustria Serbia), Mr. Kondic, Mr. Manzo and several members of Confindustria Serbia amongst which Matteo Ballarin, CEO of Europe Energy; Giorgio Marchegiani, CEO of DDOR osiguranje; Dragan Filipovic, CEO of Generali osiguranje; Patrizio Dei Tos, CEO of Labor Legno and Cinzia la Rosa, CEO of La Rosa Energy.

Air Serbia will operate the flight 4 times a week on an Atr 72. After Rome and Milan, Venice becomes the third Italian city from which Air Serbia will operate flights that directly connect Italy to Serbia.
